Elyce Neuhauser – Trance
elycenTeaching yoga since 2006, Elyce Neuhauser is a 500 E-RYT Prana Flow vinyasa teacher who is inspired by the yogic pathway of self-expression as it follows the organic rhythm and flow of breath. She is moved by the devotional connection within the practice that allows all yogis to tap into their individual essence, beyond simply the physical body. Practicing and studying with global adventurer and Yoga Trance Dance creator, Shiva Rea has profoundly inspired Elyce’s teaching style to be about a feeling state that is so intrinsic to a peaceful, loving and ecstatic life. Elyce leads Trance Dance events that are juicy experiences of breath-driven movement, designed to draw all participants into the collective energy of self-love and universal love. She is grateful to Shiva, and to Lorin Roche, her meditation teacher and author of The Radiance Sutras, a poetic translation of the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra that has so richly influenced her practice and life.
Elyce teaches yoga classes, Trance Dance events, teacher trainings and workshops on Long Island, and beyond, and she has been leading classes at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY since 2009. She is deeply grateful to her family and greatest teachers, Mitch, Molly and Jacob. Connect with her on Facebook
